The PSR-282 is the latest lower cost handheld scanner. It offers basic coverage, is simple to operate and very in-expensive when compared to other models with similar features. This new model has increased memory to 200 channels (over 50 from the previous PSR-244/PSR-275) and includes 8.33kHz tuning steps on the VHF airband frequencies. It represents a compact well designed hand held scanner. PSR-282 requires 4 x AA batteries (not included) or can be powered from an external 9v DC supply.
If rechargeable batteries are used in the supplied holder these will be charged whilst the radio is in use. The PSR-282 is user friendly and offers excellent performance making it ideal for the enthusiast who requires civil Airband coverage at a very competitive price.
