The Nightfall is a tough, handheld Gen-I Night Vision Device. Rated to IPx4 for water resistance, it has an 80mm lens with 5x magnification providing a more detailed picture from a longer distance. Power is supplied by a CR123 3V cell with a projected battery life of over 20 hours with continuous usage.
With its narrow field of view and high magnification the Nightfall is optimised for spotting activities such as wildlife observation and astronomy.
Using NVD's for astronomy allows you view consellations, nebulae and events such as meteor showers which are usually very faint or inivsible to the human eye providing spectacular views. While observing wildlife and nature you can see
