Icom Waterproof Marine IC-M31 VHF Handportable
Affordable quality is the inspiration behind the NEW Marine VHF waterproof handheld transceiver from radio communications specialist, Icom. The IC-M31 is a simple-to-use, value-for-money package that is sure to make waves in the marine market.
The compact NEW IC-M31 is designed for reliable, simple and safe operation. Featuring a one-piece, die-cast aluminium chassis and an ultra-durable polycarbonate case the IC-M31 has a long-lasting, rechargeable Lion battery that fits inside the radio case and locks firmly into place, offering a waterproof seal.
Despite its competitive price, the IC-M31 still carries many of the features that users have come to expect from Icom. These include one-touch channel selection TAG scanning; one-touch channel 16 selection; normal/priority scan selections; and dual/tri watch. There’s even a self-check diagnostic feature.
The clear LCD on the IC-M31 is one of the biggest on the market, and with the backlighting turned on, channel numbers and other display indications (like the 4-level remaining power indicator) are easy to see, day or night. The generously-sized keypad is also backlit, and settings may be locked by the radio user to prevent accidental channel changing.
All U.S., International and Marina channels are built-in. A sturdy belt clip comes as standard, or the user may upgrade to the optional swing-type, quick-remove belt clip.
