Local PBR Base Unit
Ideal for control areas our local base units can operate via fixed or temporary antennas and will provide good stable communications for control areas. A mains power socket is all that is required. Package includes a base station desk microphone. Our standard base is made utilising a Maxon PM100 radio and a high quality power supply which offers 4 channels and the most commonly required features. We can make any combination of local base station (provided it matches specification) should alternative types of mobile radio with specific additional functions be required.

Installed centrally to the required area of coverage each signal is received by the Talk-through and simultaneously retransmitted ensuring a far greater coverage area. Installing repeaters inside large buildings can significantly reduce blind spots within the building. We can carry out a site survey to fully design your system. The SRP Repeater Series uses a combination of 2 Icom IC-F110S/IC-F210S mobile radios and can be used as a VHF to VHF, UHF to UHF or cross brand repeater. Vertex VXR-7000
The VXR-7000 helps expand the communication range of two way radio systems, but it can also be used as a base station for easier communications in industrial or administrative work areas. The VXR-7000 can be switched into base station mode with a push of the push to talk transmit button even though it is a full featured repeater. Once the button has been released it will switch back to repeater mode.
- Local or remote operating capability - the unit can be controlled by the operator or if switched to remote mode it can be controlled by instructions received from an external device
- Emergency alerts - the VXR-7000 will beep loudly and blink the LCD to notufy the dispatcher of an emegency if an alert is recieved from another Vertex standard radio.
- Uniterrupted power supply - a 12 volt rechargeable battery can be connected so that during a power outage the repeater will immediately switch to the backup battery
