The compact, ultra-durable DX485 delivers a far more natural sounding 3 watts of digital audio, clearer and louder than radios twice their size. The carefully designed ergonomics, superior construction, ultra tactile buttons and unrivalled audio levels make the Entel DX485 perfectly at home in applications where much larger commercial sized radios would have been previously used.
For additional peace of mind, the DX400 Series has a market-leading IP68 submersible rating of 2 metres for 4 hours.
This is the advanced UHF version with a high contrast white on black OLED display, navigation button, menus and an extensive contact list. This allows a larger number of individual radio users and groups to be called, and even multiple groups at once. The advanced model is also capable of displaying emergency caller ID and free format text messages as well as sending pre-formatted text messages.
The VHF version of the radio is the Entel DX425.
