Introducing the new IC-SAT100 Satellite PTT handheld two-way radio from Icom. The IC-SAT100 combines the Iridium satellite network with a push-to-talk button, just like a traditional two way radio.

Satellite PTT radios are designed for use in remote, isolated areas where there is no mobile phone signal or landline network infrastructure, for example in marine environments, or areas of human or natural disasters. The Icom IC-SAT100 is durable, powerful, and offers real-time communication across the globe.

Different to satellite phones, users can immediately start communication to all the radios in their talk group using the PTT (Push-To-Talk) button.

With its built in emergency key button located on the top panel of the radio, users are able to transmit an emergency call to all other preprogramed operators by holding down the key.
