The compact, ultra-durable DX482 delivers a far more natural sounding 3 watts of digital audio, clearer and louder than radios twice their size. The carefully designed ergonomics, superior construction, ultra tactile buttons and unrivalled audio levels make the Entel DX482 perfectly at home in applications where much larger commercial sized radios would have been previously used. For additional peace of mind, the DX400 Series has a market-leading IP68 submersible rating of 2 metres for 4 hours. This is an UHF entry level digital radio with no display screen.

The VHF version of the radio is the Entel DX422.
